The AAAA battery (often called quad-A) is 42.5 mm (1.7 in) long and 8.3 mm (0.3 in) in diameter, weighs about 6.5 g (1.4 g) and produces 1.5 V. This battery is also rated LR8D425, LR61 (IEC), and 25 A (ANSI/NEDA). The battery is also known by the Duracell type number MN2500 or MX2500, and Energizer type E96.

This battery size is most commonly used in devices that require small batteries, such as laser pointers, LED flashlights, glucose meters, and small headphones.
